Christmas 2019 and again, it’s that “most wonderful time of year” and we are about Christmas at home and travel. It is always exciting to see the “new” and “old” and enjoy this festive season. We are starting a little earlier this year as the schedule of seasonal events and opportunities for celebration have doubled in our world. So then, we revisit last year’s lovely favorite image (of images) from our Greenbrier Resort Christmas.
Oh So Charming Christmas Tree
What really makes a charming masterpiece is a Christmas tree decorated in ornaments that tell your story of Christmas. At home, we decorate our trees with heirloom family ornaments collected and handed down over the years and each has its special meaning. Whether ornaments are collectors items of blown glass or crystal, famous artists or handmade, they are precious to us and each year we fill our trees with them as the most important piece of the tree décor. It is always a joy to share with others the story from each piece collected. They tell the story of Christmas in family life.

As we travel and photograph Christmas, it is wonderful to capture the imagination and collections of others to enhance our own Christmas celebrations. Whether a Christmas shop, event, hotel, resort, or famous houses, places or neighbor, it inspires us to even more creativity and holiday joy of beholding and capturing it. It’s oh so charming! Be charmed this Christmas and take in the sights and beauty of Christmas!

This tree is beautiful! I love that it is decorated with family heirlooms. That is such a creative way to get into the Christmas spirit. I love how much meaning is being put into decorating this tree! My family normally makes homemade decorations that we put on the tree. Everyone has their own traditions!
